Company History
Composidie Inc. embarked on its journey in 1971 as a visionary venture specializing in designing and constructing carbide progressive dies. With a modest team of three employees, we set out to make a mark in the precision manufacturing landscape.
1978
Composidie Inc. found its home in the heart of Western Pennsylvania, east of Pittsburgh, where it established its corporate headquarters. This strategic move marked the beginning of an exciting chapter in our history.
1985
A significant milestone in our growth came with the addition of Toolex Manufacturing, renowned for its precision grinding expertise. This expansion further strengthened our capabilities and reputation in the industry.
1992
The journey of innovation continued with the inclusion of EDM Services, Inc., a company specializing in close tolerance EDM machining. This addition enhanced our ability to deliver intricate and close-tolerance components.
1998
Composidie Inc. broadened its horizons by welcoming CTE Inc. into the fold. Located in York, Pennsylvania, CTE Inc. specialized in manufacturing dies and metal stampings, aligning perfectly with our commitment to excellence.
Acquisitions
Over the years, we strategically expanded our portfolio by acquiring Leading Technologies, Inc. This addition brought product finishing expertise, including chemical etching and reel-to-reel plating, to our range of capabilities.
